Crazy Political Campaigns On Cartoon Channels

Published by mstokes1 at 2:14 pm under News Edit This

After watching the Political Campaigns this year, I can’t help but shake my head in disbelief as to how they have changed over the years.

My children cannot even watch Nickelodeon channel without occasional ‘kiddie campaigns’ (as I call them) coming on in between shows. What? Now they want the votes of 4-10 year olds? Or rather, they are trying to influence our children, as to what ‘party’ they should be, in hopes they will keep this in mind when they are 18. Regardless of what their intent is, I think it is beyond stupid. I hate to burst their happy political bubble, but I really do have more influence on what my children believe than their commercials do.

First of all, the Presidential Nominees and all individuals in both (Republican and Democratic) campaigns should start acting mature. What ever happened to good old fashioned debates?

As far as the News Channels and Media, I’ve seen more smearing this year, this campaign, than ever. The individuals who actually consider this entertainment, should just tune in to the Soap Operas, and leave the News Channels for fair and balanced reporting. I do not watch the majority of the News Channels anymore, and will not, until they change their standards.

And last but not least, let our children have the cartoon channels back without trying to brain wash them at such an early age!

Well I think this was a great topic to touch on. It has gotten ridiculous on the news channels, and as you said. they need to leave the cartoon channels for just that, cartoons.
